With over a decade of experience in financial services, Troy Sorel, Managing Director, Senior Wealth Advisor, Partner advises high net worth individuals and families as well as business owners across traditional investment and private alternative strategies. Prior to joining SlateStone, Troy worked as a relationship manager for Emerald Asset Advisors from 2014 to 2019 and for ING as an investment advisor representative and as a registered representative between 2010 and 2014.
Ryan Erickson serves as Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, Partner at SlateStone Wealth. As Managing Director, he oversees the firm’s Midwest region from the firm’s Madison, WI regional office. He is also responsible for managing custom investment portfolios for a select number of high-net worth families and institutions. In addition, Ryan leads the team that manages the firm’s Core Equity investment strategy, equity stock selection and chairs the Equity sub-committee, while playing an integral role on our Investment Policy Committee. Ryan joined SlateStone Wealth in 2021.

As Founding Partner, Millie provides a deep wealth of knowledge gained over a 25-year career Millie has held positions as Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer. Dennis serves as Chief Operating Officer at Slatestone Wealth responsible for the oversight and administration of our portfolio management systems and the overall integrity and accuracy of our client information and reporting. Dan serves as Chief Investment Officer at SlateStone Wealth, and is responsible for setting the overall investment strategy for the firm. Beginning his investment career as a financial analyst in the early 1990’s, Dan has three decades of experience in the asset management industry. Throughout his career, he has excelled in various areas, including financial analysis and research, institutional mutual fund management, and portfolio management for high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

Dave is the Managing Partner of SlateStone Wealth and its affiliate investment adviser, SlateStone Private Client, LLC. Dave sits at the intersection of the firms’ wealth planning, advisory services, and portfolio management and research teams.
T. Matt Brann is the Chief Strategic Officer and Partner with SlateStone Wealth. As a member of the firm’s senior leadership team, his responsibilities are to develop, communicate, execute and sustain corporate strategic initiatives. Prior to SlateStone Wealth, Mr. Brann was the Executive Managing Director, Business Development of Boston Private Wealth, LLC where he was responsible for strategic growth and business development initiatives.
Alan is Executive Managing Director, Senior Wealth Advisor and Partner where he advises high-net worth clientele and executes the firm’s life guidance and client engagement strategy. Alan also oversees the operations of SlateStone’s two branch offices in Manhasset, New York and Boca Raton, Florida.
Robert serves as Chief Investment Strategist, Partner for SlateStone Wealth. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager for the firm.
Previously, Robert was the Chief Market Strategist for Boston Private Wealth and Banyan Partners. Prior to that, Robert was Chief Investment Officer at Oaktree Asset Management. Over career spanning three decades, Robert has held senior positions in the investment services industry including Vice President of Trading for Matrix Capital and Vice President of Laidlaw Asset Management.

Prior to joining SlateStone, Jason founded Surety Wealth Management and Faculty Advisors in 2015 and served as President and Chief Investment Officer responsible for all investment guidance, portfolio construction and client engagement. His business experience also includes overseeing the advice and guidance provided to over 100 institutional clients at Fidelity Investments as a Regional Vice President of Retirement Consulting.
